Couplings
A coupling is used to connect two inline shafts to allow one to drive the second at the same speed. Couplings can be rigid or more normally, flexible to allow for misalignment of the shafts. A wide variety of couplings are available, including rigid, muff, pin, disc, spider, chain, gear and fluid, from a range of manufacturers. Transpower Drives also stock separate replacement elements for a wide range of flexible couplings.
