Self Lube Units

Self-Lube Units consist of pre-lubricated sealed ball bearing units and a housing, which varies in shape. They are capable of aligning themselves efficiently using the spherical fitting surface between the bearing and housing, effectively preventing overloads due to misalignment.

Housing Units

Housing Units are available in a wide range of shapes, basically plummer or pillow block, flanged (four bolt or two bolt) and take up units. Cast iron housings are single piece units that can support high loads. Two-piece sheet steel housings are used where space rather than loading is the priority.

Thermo Plastic housings are available in some sizes.

Ball Bearing Inserts

These are wide inner ring bearings for use with the self-lube housing. Bearings are sealed and pre-lubricated although they do have re-lubrication features. Both spherical and parallel outer ring versions are available. A setscrew, eccentric collar or a taper sleeve can achieve integral locking.

They are also available in stainless steel.
