NU type cylindrical roller bearings are designed so that the outer ring guides the rollers, while the inner ring can move freely in either axial direction. This construction allows unlimited axial displacement but no thrust‑load capability, making NU bearings ideal for the free end of shafts in gearboxes, electric motors, pumps and other rotating machinery. They accommodate thermal expansion without generating axial stress, ensuring smooth, reliable running in demanding industrial environments.
