The Metric 12 Series bearing insert provides a strong, versatile and low‑maintenance solution for supporting rotating shafts in industrial, agricultural and general engineering machinery. Featuring a spherical outer diameter, the insert can self‑align within the housing to compensate for small amounts of initial misalignment, ensuring smooth rotation and reduced vibration.
A key advantage of the 12 Series is the flat‑back construction, which provides a stable seating surface inside the housing and improves load distribution across the assembly. The range is available with two locking options: • a secure eccentric collar for vibration‑resistant shaft retention • a grub‑screw locking system for simple, fast installation
Each insert is sealed and pre‑greased for life, delivering dependable performance with minimal maintenance. Suitable for pillow blocks, flanged units, take‑up housings and other self‑lube assemblies.
