Ultimate Strength Retaining Compound: Lockfast R38 Retainer
Lockfast R38 Retainer is a green, high-strength, high-viscosity retainer for bonding cylindrical fitted parts where ultimate strength is required, typically in power transmission environments. Ideal for bond gaps up to 0.25mm. Uses can include locking of bushes and sleeves into housings. Works with active (mild) steel and passive metals (plated metals e.g stainless steel). Tolerant to minor contaminants such as oils, making it ideal for shafts, gears and pulleys. Will prevent leaks and loosening caused by vibration and shock. UV fluorescent properties allow the product's presence to be monitored in quality control via a UV black light.
