Our Budget Roller Chain range provides a cost‑effective yet dependable solution for a wide variety of industrial power‑transmission applications. We supply chains primarily from Challenge, supported by selected Wippermann products where appropriate, ensuring consistent quality across all common British Standard (BS) and ANSI chain sizes.
Challenge budget chain is manufactured to recognised international standards, offering stable performance for conveyors, agricultural machinery, packaging equipment, light‑duty drives and general engineering use. Plates, bushes and rollers are produced using controlled heat‑treatment processes to achieve a balance of tensile strength, wear resistance and fatigue life suitable for everyday industrial environments.
Where higher specification is required, we also support the range with Wippermann chain — a long‑established German manufacturer known for precision tolerances, consistent metallurgy and excellent service life. This allows maintenance teams and OEMs to select the most appropriate chain grade for their application while maintaining compatibility across sprockets and accessories.
All budget chains are supplied in 5‑metre boxed lengths, making them ideal for workshop stock, breakdown repairs and machine refurbishment.
