NUP-type cylindrical roller bearings are designed for applications requiring high radial load capacity and positive axial location in both directions. With a fixed inner‑ring rib and a separate loose rib (washer), NUP bearings accurately locate the shaft while maintaining smooth, low‑friction rotation. This makes them ideal for fixed‑end positions in gearboxes, compressors, pumps, electric motors and specialist industrial machinery.
Because NUP bearings are less common than N, NU or NJ types, they are widely used in precision assemblies where shaft control and axial stability are critical. Their locating capability ensures reliable performance under demanding operating conditions.
