Our Hook & Hook Turnbuckles are manufactured from drop‑forged high‑tensile steel (SAE 1035 or 1045) and finished with a durable hot‑dip galvanised coating for long‑term corrosion resistance. Produced generally to ATSM F1145‑92 (formerly US Fed Spec FF‑T‑791b), these turnbuckles deliver reliable performance in demanding tensioning and rigging applications.
The hook‑end fittings allow quick connection and disconnection, making them ideal for adjustable rope systems, temporary bracing, fencing, marine use and non‑lifting tensioning tasks. Each unit is designed with a minimum breaking load (MBL) equal to 5 × WLL, ensuring a strong safety margin.
